Sparkle on Your Wedding Day - 

Brows Can make your eyes look larger and more expressive. Fill the brow in with an eye shadow powder and eyebrow brush. It's best to choose a shade that matches your hair color. Apply with a small, hard brush that's flat and angled at the tip.

Apply shadow first to the most populated area of the brow to avoid laying down too much color. Finish by combing the brows with a toothbrush. If too much color is applied, soften by applying a bit of loose face powder in your correct shade with a powder puff. Although individual brow shapes differ, you should always tweeze from below the brow.

For well-dressed eyes anytime, apply a pale, light shade over entire lid and brow bone . Then accent with a darker shadow along the lid . To help eye shadow go on smoothly, apply a little foundation or concealer on your eyelids. For a soft subtle eye try applying a Soft Neutral Brown Eye Shadow  all over with two coats of thickening mascara.

For something more dramatic try applying White Eye Shadow all over the lid , with Grey Eye Shadow on the lid 3/4 the way up to the crease. With the Eyeliner Brush damp, apply Charcoal Eye Shadow  around the entire eye close to the lashes and do not forget two coats of Black Thickening Mascara.  

Use dark shades to create depth and light colors to make features stand out. Use blush, eye shadow, lip liner, and contour to reshape your face. Unless you are going for a very dramatic look, Less is more.

                                                     EYE LINING

Using a sharpened Eye pencil to draw a thin line around the lash makes the lashes appear thicker.Hold outside corner of eye with the finger tip to apply. A thicker line will add drama. Be sure to blend the line with a wedge sponge or Q Tip to soften. If there are dark shadows under the eyes avoid lining the bottom.

The surface of our lips is a mucous membrane and an extension of what coats the insides of our mouths. It is different from our skin in that it does not have a protective layer that retains moisture and our lips do not have oil glands which also assist in retaining moisture. In addition, although lips have some melanin, its presence is much less than found in skin.

What does this mean?

This means that your lips are exceptionally vulnerable to environmental conditions that can diminish their moisture. So, beware of cold, wind, air conditioning and especially sun. Sun exposure not only dries your lips, their reduced melanin increases damage risks from the sun's harmful rays. In addition to the discomfort your feeling, dry, chapped, flaky and sore, they don't look that great either!

To prevent moisture loss and protect your lips, makeup tips for lips recommends using a lip balm to act as a barrier to those environmental conditions.

Lip balms are of a thick waxy nature and have greater staying power than creams. A lip balm will also act to seal in the existing moisture and can, depending on the product, bring moisturizing repair. A moisturizing lip balm with a good SPF covers all the bases.

(i) Prime lip area with lip primer, or foundation and set the foundation with a light dusting of loose translucent powder.

(ii) Apply liner first starting with the upper lip outer corner and line edge of lip to the top half. Repeat on the other side starting at the outer corner. Repeat this process for bottom lip. Make sure your lip liner is sharp for a clean precise line.

(iii) Soften pencil lip line with lip brush by gently blending edge.

(iv) Follow with lipstick applied from the tube and blended with the lip brush to smooth and even out. 

(v) Blot lips on a tissue (press lips together on a tissue), lightly dusting again and applying more lipstick using lip brush. Follow this with a gentle blot (avoids lipstick on your teeth), and a light dusting.

(vi)*Add gloss or shine *Optional.

My makeup tips for lips has to include this as it is critical to the most important beauty feature on your face (next to your eyes). Defining your lips WILL enhance as well as produce great looking lips, and your own individual beauty style will dictate what lip liner you use.

What works for most of us is a good quality neutral liner that is versatile color-wise. Other wise, choose pencil liner colors that match your lipsticks. For more natural looking lips, use a neutral lip liner that matches your lip's tone or a reverse lip liner and a sheer lipstick or gloss.

How to Exfoliate Your Dry Chapped Lips 

If you have dry chapped lips, adding in one simple step might be all you need to get them in line. 

Exfoliating is an easy step that takes only a minute to do, a few times a week. Here's how.

Here's How:

Apply a thick layer of Vaseline to your lips.

Using super soft toothbrush (kid's toothbrushes work great), simply rub your lips gently in circular 

motions. The toothbrush will exfoliate and the Vaseline will heal and hydrate.

If you have extra Vaseline on your lips, you can tissue it off. Make sure you leave some one for added

protection and shine.

Tips:

Don't have a toothbrush on hand? Mix some sugar or coffee grounds into your Vaseline and gently use 

your finger to rub in circular motions.

For extra hydration, apply Vaseline to your lips before bed. Lips can get painfully dehydrated while 

you're sleeping, taking this step each night will greatly help.

Grab a bit of your blush and mix it with your Vaseline for a quick lip tint.

 1. Women are obsessed with shoes. Not just their own shoes or shoes on other women (which, of course, they are, as we found out from a Dutch neuroscientist) — they’re obsessed with men’s shoes. So a guy should wear nice ones, because her judging them is unavoidable. It’s best to pick an appropriate pair — lace-ups or loafers for the evening; driving shoes, moccasins, or simple sneakers for the afternoon; flip-flops for nothing, ever. (Here are some stylish new shoes for spring that we especially like.)

2. Going out with her, especially for the first time, is an occasion. A man should dress for it. No need to sweat the tie, but a jacket is an excellent idea. (We have a few solid but casual options in mind.)

3. Unless one’s destination requires a tie. Then a man should wear one. But he should check first — you don’t want to feel too dressy. (And if a guy doesn’t know how to tie a tie, he should just learn already.)

Sure, the nicest things you own are probably those suits of yours, but those suits are for work — leave them in the dry-cleaning bag ’til Monday. 5. Wear clothes that fit him. This fitting chart can help — and it always applies, but now more than ever. The ultimate goal of this exercise is to see each other naked. She might as well get a reasonable approximations of his dimensions underneath.

6. Grooming: Clipped fingernails and washed hair are a must. Women check the details. They look at a man’s hands more often than a man looks at his own. He should make sure his are presentable. They’ll see those little flakes on the shoulder, too, so he shouldn’t be too shy to break out the dandruff shampoo. If this is a problem, though, he should avoid wearing a dark shirt. 7. Take it easy on the cologne. They like it when he smells nice, but there’s no need to bludgeon the poor woman. (Having said that, there are a few great new colognes we’d recommend for any occasion.)

T-shirts with sayings on them, his “Mr. Burns for Mayor” pin, dad’s old hunting cap — they’re not going to show her how clever he is. His words and actions will.
